NY State SHRM, Best Companies Group, and Rochester Business Journal Announce 2024 Recipients
Rochester, New York: Wilmac Technologies, a Rochester-based communications technology company, is proud to announce that it has been named as one of the 2024 Best Companies to Work for in New York. The recognition is reflective of the company’s core value of being a great place to work, which the company has focused heavily on since President & CEO Steve McDonnell acquired the company in 2022.
Best Companies to Work for in New York is a research-driven program that examines a company’s practices, programs, and benefits and surveys its employees for their perspectives. The rankings were determined by evaluating the nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics, along with an anonymous employee survey to measure employee experience.

In large part, Wilmac Technologies’ growth mindset has been driven by its investment in its own communications data archiving software, Continuity Replay. Continuity Replay has grown over 200% year-over-year for the past two years, and that growth is expected to continue.
Wilmac’s investment in people and company culture does not plan to subside, as the Rochester headquarters will be relocating to a brand new, state-of-the-art office in the coming weeks. The move has been in the works for over a year and is designed to continue encouraging collaboration and innovation amongst the success of the niche technology company.
