In recognition of his exceptional performance and contributions to the field of Public Safety communications, longtime Wilmac customer Steven Sharpe – the Director of Emergency Communications at Genesee County Sheriff's Office – has been awarded NICE's 2016 PSAPs' Finest Director of the Year award.
Sharpe, who was nominated by Wilmac's Director of Public Safety, Joseph Grube, joins four other exemplary Public Safety Communications professionals to be recognized this year.
"I've had the pleasure of knowing Steve since he entered the field of 9-1-1, and have had the opportunity to see how he's embraced his career and advanced not only himself and his agency, but his surrounding partner agencies," said Wilmac's Joseph Grube. "Everything Steve does is for the benefit of the public we all serve. It’s great to see his hard work and dedication recognized."
With this award, Wilmac is pleased to join NICE and the rest of the Public Safety Communications industry in recognizing the outstanding dedication and commitment that Sharpe exemplifies in every aspect of his career. It is our pleasure to work alongside and provide support for Steve, the Genesee County Sheriff's Office, and other PSAPs and Public Safety organizations across the United States and Canada.
