Sales & Marketing Support Manager

The Sales & Marketing Support Manager plays an integral role at Wilmac, responsible for supporting and overseeing various functions, processes, and initiatives of both sales and marketing. This position requires use of excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills to accomplish the following objectives:

  • Database Management – Manage, improve, and support the corporate CRM database
  • Lead Generation – Develop and execute outbound phone and email campaigns to identify new prospects 
  • Sales Support – Provide day to day support for both inside and outside sales teams

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and improve current prospect and lead information in the database
  • Identify new potential prospects, and collect and manage contact data
  • Coordinate with sales team Solution Managers on targeted prospect accounts, based on vertical market and industry, and strategic customer account management
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party lead generation services and providers
  • Oversee and assign leads and information from trade shows, marketing efforts, and partners/suppliers
  • Collaborate with Marketing Manager on email campaigns, including nurture and follow up
  • Provide sales support for all internal and administrative processes
  • Develop and expand industry and product knowledge
  • Monitor industry and customer trends, and contribute to sales and marketing messaging ideation

Qualifications:

  • AS or BS, preferably in Business or Computer Science 
  • 2+ years’ experience within the software or telecommunications industry
  • Technical knowledge and background in Windows-based PC systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work on a team, yet work independently
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong planning and time management skills
  • Prior sales support experience preferred
  • Genuine willingness to be of service to our customers and concern for their best interest

The compensation package includes a base salary plus uncapped commissions. Benefits include health, life, and disability insurance, 401K, as well as on-going personal and professional training programs.
