Wilmac History
Wilmac was founded in 1957
by William G. McDonnell, Sr. in Rochester, NY as a dictation equipment
supplier. In 1978, Wilmac began to market and service word processing
equipment, and when the word processor was replaced by the IBM PC, Wilmac
entered into the service and repair of personal computers. In 1992, consistent
with our strong background in dictation recording, Wilmac expanded its product
line by entering into the Voice Logging Recording industry. We have always
transitioned with the technology of the time; our goal is to meet market needs
better than our competitors. We have done so successfully for the past 54 years,
and continue to by representing NICE Systems.
Upon entering the Voice
Recording industry, we quickly became the leading provider of call recording
solutions for Financial, Call Center and Public Safety applications. By 1999,
we had expanded our footprint to include the Greater Toronto Area, and in the
process became the largest dealer in North America. We expanded further with the opening of our Manhattan office in 2004, and more recently with the opening of our Boston office in 2010. Today, we are
a NICE Platinum Business Partner one of the few NICE Authorized Service
Providers in North America. As a NICE Authorized Service Provider, all Wilmac
Field Service Engineers have undergone the same vigorous training, testing and
certification as NICE Direct employees. However, as a Platinum Business Partner
we are able to offer customers efficient, flexible and local support.

gathered over the years, Wilmac continues to provide customers with the best
product available, as well as superior service and support. We differentiate
ourselves from competitors by remaining service oriented; our unparalleled
commitment and dedication to customers has resulted in over 500 active
installations throughout North America.
